Jeremy Linneman is lead pastor of Trinity Community Church. He is a native Missourian and a graduate of the University of Missouri (BA) and Southern Seminary (MA). Prior to planting Trinity, he was a staff pastor of Sojourn Community Church in Louisville, KY for seven years. He is the author of Life-Giving Groups and a writer for The Gospel Coalition, City on a Hill Studios, and Sojourn Network. He and his wife, Jessie, have three boys and spend most of their free time outdoors.
What is your role at Trinity?
I'm the primary teaching pastor and give direction to the leadership team.
Tell us about your family!
My wife, Jessie, and I have been married for 12+ years. We met through Cru at Mizzou. She is an artist, likes running, and is working toward a master's in social work. Our boys are Joseph (9), Jude (7), and Jack (4). They like making noise.
What's your favorite thing about Columbia?
The Katy Trail, for sure. Also, Trinity Community Church.
Where else have you worked, lived, or studied?
I'm originally from South KCMO but graduated from Mizzou in 2006 and lived/worked in Columbia for four more years. From 2010-17, we lived in Louisville, where I was a pastor at Sojourn Church.
What's one crazy thing you have to do before you die?
Sneak into the Tour de France and climb a hill or two before getting arrested.
